In October 2019, during the run up to Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly elections when every political analyst and poll surveys were saying that it will be a clean sweep for incumbent BJP, it was Acharya Salil whose predictions were bang on target. Salil Kumar is an engineer by qualification and after completing his B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Kanpur, he pursued his Ph.D in Astrology from BHU, Varanasi and was conferred the title of “Acharya” after its successful completion. Henceforth, he is lovingly called as Acharya Salil by his followers.
