Residents of Balochistan’s Kech district have undertaken a protest by blocking the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) highway at the Tajaban area.
As per reports, the demonstrators, primarily comprised of women and children, are expressing their grievances against reported incidents of firing and shelling by Paki officials stationed at the Tjaban camp.
The protest aims to draw attention to the night-time firing, which has reportedly resulted in bullet and shell damage to homes in the nearby Srisingabad village. The protestors are demanding the relocation of the camp and an immediate cessation of firing towards civilian residences.
