BLA press release

In two seperate attacks, the BLA attacked Pakistan military and a key member of a death squad in Zamuran and Noshki respectively.

The operations were executed to resist the military aggressions and enforced disappearances of Baloch youth in the region.

In Noshki, the BLA successfully targeted and eliminated Babo Hameed Mandai, alias Sami, an important member of a death squad on July 30. Earlier in 2019, Babo Hameed had deceived Baloch freedom fighters, leading to their arrest. He later surrendered to the enemy and was involved in running an enemy-sponsored death squad in various regions, including Batto, Reko, Doh Seh, Munjro, and Ahmed Wall.

Furthermore, Babo Hameed aided the Pakistan Army in enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and conducting raids on civilian homes. In June 2022, he was involved in supporting the military during their advances after a drone attack in Makhbali, Noshki. The deceased had direct involvement in military aggressions in several areas of Noshki and Kharan, including Doh Seh, Hazda Khaol, Makhbali, and Lijjay areas. The BLA has considered him a traitor and had placed him on their hit list, resulting in his ultimate elimination today.

Zamuran Attack

In a separate operation on 29 July, BLA fighters targeted a post of the Pakistani military in Abdoi, Zamuran. During the attack, one enemy personnel identified as Waheed Ullah was killed, and two more were injured. The injured were later evacuated by Pakistan military helicopters.

The BLA spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, stated that the group will continue to target Pakistan military and its collaborators until the liberation of Baloch motherland. BLA targeting death squad and those involved in enforced disappearances, outlines their exertion towards the exploitation of Balochistan by the occupying Pakistan Army. While the grievances of the Baloch people’s go unheard by the ears of Pakistan, organisations like BLA have started resisting the unwarranted exploitation and fight for the freedom of once independent nation which Pakistan occupied on 11 August 1948.
