In a significant development, the Baloch Liberation Front’s spokesperson (BLF), Major Gwahram Baloch, announced that BLF executed state agent Shakir. Shakir was son of Hussain, hailing from Dandar, Balochistan. Shakir, a notorious agent of the occupying Pakistan forces, was apprehended on 12th July by the BLF. Later, BLF sentenced him to death on 17th July after he confessed to his crimes against the Balochistan freedom struggle.

According to Major Gwahram Baloch, Shakir was actively involved in a range of nefarious activities. Over twenty of his companions testified against him. Notably, the state agent was directly assisting the enemy Pakistan forces in executing various military operations. Therse opeartions aimed at suppressing the Balochistan Liberation Movement.

Among his heinous acts, Shakir was reportedly involved in the enforced disappearance of several individuals, all for monetary gains. However, upon his arrest, he not only admitted to all his crimes but also provided the Baloch Liberation Front with comprehensive details about his network and operations.

BLF Sends Message

In response to this development, the BLF called upon the Baloch nation to refrain from supporting the Pakistan forces. It also urged Baloch people to keep themselves away from any individuals collaborating with them. Additionally, Major Gwahram Baloch emphasized that those who side with the enemy will not be forgiven for their betrayal to the Baloch cause and the ongoing struggle for freedom and dignity.

Balochistan, a region with a long history of resistance against the occupying Pakistan forces. It has endured years of violence, human rights abuses, and economic exploitation. The Baloch Liberation Movement seeks to assert their right to self-determination and reclaim their identity from the oppressive rule.

While Shakir’s execution reflects the gravity of his crimes against the Baloch people and their fight for autonomy, it also highlights the complexity of the situation in Balochistan. The region’s struggle for independence calls for a comprehensive resolution. A resolution that addresses the legitimate grievances of the Baloch people and aims to bring an end to the cycle of violence. Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948 by Pakistan , Balochistan has been fighting the war of its existence and freedom.
