The spokesperson of Young Doctors Association Balochistan has stated that, all government hospitals in the entire Balochistan province have run out of medicines for the past one year, and the Pakistan government’s incompetence has made the patients suffer even more.

According to the spokesperson, syringes, cannulas, drips, and even a single injection are not available in district headquarter hospitals and central tertiary hospitals. This situation is so critical that even medicines for heart emergencies are not accessible, which is a worrisome condition.

For the past year, hospitals have not had any medicines at all, and due to the government’s incompetence, they have not been able to procure them. Even after the new year’s budget allocation, they have failed to provide basic facilities in hospitals.

This is proof of the indifference and incompetence of the government and has left no stone unturned to push the people of Balochistan towards more deprivation.

Young Doctors Association demanded the Government of Balochistan to take notice of the lack of facilities in the hospitals on emergency basis. As the human right abuses and exploitation of the Baloch resources are increasing with each passing day, there is also an inceasing voice from inside Balochistan demanding the forceful resistance against these atrocities. Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948, Balochistan has been fighting the war of its existence.
