Slamming Punjab for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM) has said that the observation of Kashmir Solidarity day, while denying the Sindhis, Baloch and Pashtun their national freedom is the height of hypocrisy by the Pakistan establishment.
“Before shedding crocodile tears for Kashmir, Pakistani generals should end their atrocities, human rights violations, persecution of minorities and illegal occupation in Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pashtunkhwa,” said Zafar Sahito, founder and chief organiser, JSFM (Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement) in a statement. Pakistan military has used the Kashmir card for decades to strengthen its political hold on the country and to whip up the Jihadi hysteria to enrich themselves, he said, adding that “If Pakistan generals are so pained over the state of Kashmiri Muslims, why are they completely silent on the slavery of millions of Uighur Muslims in China?” “Pakistan needs to put its house in order first,” Zafar Sahito said.
Referring a passage from his article ‘Who is real enemy of Kashmiris’ published on October 22, 2020, on the invasion day of Kashmir by Pakistan, Zafar explained, “Pakistan is responsible for bleeding Kashmir. Kashmir was once a Hindu land and for centuries different invaders and rulers plundered this land. The culture of Kashmir became unique with lots of Hindus, soft and moderate form of Islam known as Sufism was followed in Kashmir, however, theocratic Pakistan which was born on two nation fake theory and enmity with Hindus of India had been constantly needling India and bleeding Kashmir. Who is the worst sufferer? Over a million Kashmiri Pandit refugees are forced to live the life of refugees elsewhere in India.
Original Hindu culture and Sufism has been hijacked and destroyed by Pakistan by infiltrating terrorist for several decades and brainwashing people to become radical Islamist.”
The rallies organised by Pakistani intelligence agencies and various paid media in Pakistan to show solidarity with Kashmiris and to show the world that Kashmiris are facing atrocities by the Indian government is just a fake show to get sympathy from the world on Kashmir cause and use the youth of Kashmir for Jihad (Holy war) against the infidels, Sahito added.
Urging the world bodies to look at the plight of the Sindhis, Baloch and Pashtuns, he said, “..the world and United Nation must pay attention on Kashmir issue and pass laws to save Sindhi, Baloch and Pashtuns enchained in slavery of theocratic Pakistan.”
