After being released on bail, Shoaib Khokh, who was imprisoned in Karachi Jail, Sindh was forcibly disappeared again yesterday from the gate of Karachi Jail by the officials of Pakistani agencies and CTD.
The head of Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh, Surath Lohar, and Sindh Sabha leader Inam Sindhi have given a joint statement and said that “Shoaib Khokh, a student was forcibly disappeared from Mukli area of Thatta three months ago and was later imprisoned in Karachi Jail. After being released on bail, he was forcibly disappeared again today from the gate of Karachi Jail by officials of Pakistani agencies and CTD.
They said that there is a fear that the officials of CTD and agencies could harm Shoaib Khokh by showing a false contest but in that case they would strongly protest and go to high court against all institutions including CTD.
He said that the students will protest again in Karachi, Hyderabad and Thatta on behalf of Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh, Sindh Sabha and his family members against the enforced disappearance of Shoaib Shokh.
He further said that Karachi Jail administration is involved in the forced disappearance of student Shoaib Khokh from Karachi Jail again. Jailer Ehsan Mehr of Karachi Jail, Jail Superintendent Abdul Karim Abbasi, CTD and other agencies together are inhumanely torturing Sindhi activists and are involved in forced disappearances and that they are also involved in making Shoaib Shokh disappear again.
