Two civilians were killed and 10 people including 3 soldiers were injured in a suicide attack on a convoy of Pakistan military in Bannu district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, on November 26, a suicide bomber riding a motorcycle detonated his explosives near a convoy of Pakistan Army in the Cantonment area of Azad Mandi in Bannu district, resulting in the death of two civilians, 10 injuries including three soldiers of Pakistan Army. The Hafiz Gul Bahadur group of a banned Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorist organisation orchestrated the suicide bombing.
The suicide attack was carried out by an Afghan national associated with the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorist organisation. The name of the terrorist is reported to be Rabinullah, who entered Pakistan on 26 November on an Afghan identity card.
This comes after Pakistan killed eight terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday, according to the military’s media wing.
