Blast near mosque in Quetta kills one and injures 12

In an incident that occurred near a mosque in Quetta on Monday, police personnel were killed, whereas 12 people sustained injuries.

The 12 people who were injured, included five personnel as well. Following the blast, puppet authorities cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.

In February, another devastating blast in Pak-occupied Balochistan’s Pishin resulted in 12 deaths and 25 injured. Similarly, a blast near the JUI-F election office in Pak-occupied Balochistan’s Qila Saifullah killed at least 12 people and left several others injured.

The Baloch community, have long aspired for independence, continues to face oppressive measures by the Pak Army.

To maintain its illegal grip over the region, Pak Army has employed various oppressive tactics, including enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, profiling and abduction of students and supporting death squads.
