BLA attacks a Pak Army camp in Wali Thangi

In a bold act of defiance, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has launched an audacious attack on a Pakistan Army post in the Wali Thangi region of Quetta. The BLA’s statement reports that they successfully eliminated 11 Pakistan Army personnel and captured a Pak Army camp in the process.

This courageous assault comes in direct contradiction to earlier reports in the local media, which had downplayed the incident, suggesting that only one soldier was killed and another injured in an attack by armed individuals on an Pak Army base in Wali Thangi.

According to the statement released by the Baloch Liberation Army, their freedom fighters launched a well-coordinated and fierce attack on the occupying Pakistan Army camp in Wali Thangi, at 6 p.m. on 14 Sept. The freedom fighters approached from multiple directions, effectively pinning down the enemy troops and forcing them to abandon their camp.

After the BLA’s attack, the Pak Army camp witnessed chaos. The Pak Army left behind not only their camp but also their weapons and their injured soldiers. Two posts of the camp the Army camp were entirely captured, and the enemy’s arm depot suffered complete destruction at the hands of BLA rockets. This decisive strike resulted in the death of eleven enemy personnel, including Subaidar Qaisar Raheem.

Moreover, the Baloch Liberation Army reported that they successfully confiscated arms and ammunition from the retreating Pakistan Army, further weakening the occupying forces in the region.

The BLA’s commitment to the cause of Balochistan’s freedom is firm. Their spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, made it clear in the statement that these actions are part of a broader effort to target Pakistan Army until a full withdrawal from Balochistan is achieved. This determination shows the lengths to which the BLA is willing to go to secure the rights and autonomy of the Baloch people in their homeland.

The Pakistan Army has committed numerous atrocities, including daily home raids, disappearances, staged encounters, target killings, torture, humiliation at checkpoints, and kidnappings for ransom. The events in Wali Thangi serve as a stark reminder that the struggle for freedom and justice in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan continues, with the Baloch Liberation Army leading the charge. Their triumph highlights that even in the face of adversity, the voice of the Baloch people will not be silenced, and their fight for self-determination and independence remains a beacon of hope. Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948, Balochistan has been fighting the war of its existence.

PTM announces protest in Karachi against brutalities on Afghan refugees

Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) is fighting tooth and nail against Pakistan’s atrocious crackdown over the Afghan refugees.

In a latest development, PTM has convened a meeting in Karachi regarding the sudden and brutal repatriation efforts initiated by Pakistan against the Afghan civilians. After the meeting, PTM announced to hold a protest against the ongoing injustice on Friday, September 22, at Ziauddin Hospital Karachi. As per PTM, the protest will be held to raise the voice against this injustice.

Furthermore, on 23 September , PTM will host a cultural event celebrating the Pashtun culture and tradition. The site for the cultural event will be the same as protest, that is, Ziauddin Hospital, Karachi.

After Chitral clashes between the Pakistan Army and TTP, Paki establishment, on September 11, waged a brutal crackdown over the Afghan refugees residing in Karachi. In a repatriation effort of the undocumented Afghans, Pakistan is exercising absolute brutality. Consequently, a human rights crisis has started in the region. And that is why, PTM has aligned with the justice seeking demands of the Afghan refugees.

BRP protests at British Parliament against the Pak Army’s operation in Dera Bugti

In a passionate display of solidarity and unwavering determination, members of the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) gathered in front of the British Parliament on 17 Sept, raising their voices against the heinous atrocities committed by the Pakistan Army in Dera Bugti, Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan. For eight painful days, the people of Dera Bugti have endured pain and suffering, with nearly two dozen innocent individuals subjected to enforced disappearances.

As the world watches in silence, the Baloch Republican Party has taken a stand, demanding an end to the ruthless military operations and enforced disappearances that plague the region. In their quest for justice, they are not alone. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee, too, held a protest rally in Quetta, condemning the military aggression and enforced disappearances that have become synonymous with life in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan.

The plight of the Baloch people has reached a critical juncture. Among the protesters were prominent figures such as senior leader Mansour Baloch and BRP Central spokesman Sher Mohammad Bugti, who stood shoulder to shoulder with their fellow activists, determined to make their voices heard on behalf of those who have been silenced.

On the night of 17 Sept, the Pakistan Army struck again, abducting at least five more individuals during the ongoing military operation in Dera Bugti. Among the abductees were 60-year-old Pir Baksh Bugti and 16-year-old Naseer Bugti. The anguish of the Baloch people knows no bounds as they watch their loved ones disappear into the abyss of enforced disappearances.

The brutality displayed by Pakistan in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan has shattered all records, and the world must take note. Ijaz Baloch, abducted on the 24th of August 2023, was held in detention without trials. On the night of 17th Sept, his mutilated body was discovered, a stark reminder of the Paki estbalishment’s brutal attempt to ethnically cleanse the Baloch nation.

This military operation in Dera Bugti has been ongoing for eight consecutive days, reflecting the constant nightmare the local population is going through. The Paki establishment contends that the Pak Army launched a rescue operation to recover six footballers who were abducted over the weekend while traveling from Sui Dera Bugti to Sibi. However, under this lie, the people of Dera Bugti live in fear and distress as the Pakistan Army’s military operation continues unabated. Recent reports describe mortar shells raining down on civilian areas in Darenjan, Asreli, Shari Darbar, and Gandoi, courtesy of Pakistan Army. Gunship helicopters hover ominously across Dera Bugti, a grim reminder of the looming threat.

The protesters outside the British Parliament today bear witness to a struggle for justice, human rights, and an end to the suffering endured by the Baloch people. Their message is clear: the world must not remain silent in the face of such unspeakable brutality. The cry for justice in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan echoes not only in the hearts of the protesters but also in the collective conscience of humanity. It is a cry that demands a response—not only of justice, freedom, but the sanctity of human life.

The Pakistan Army has committed numerous atrocities, including daily home raids, disappearances, staged encounters, target killings, torture, humiliation at checkpoints, and kidnappings for ransom. Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948, Balochistan has been fighting the war of its existence.

G20’s mission: Crafting a unified global framework for Cryptocurrency by 2027

In a groundbreaking move, the G20 leaders have embarked on an ambitious mission to establish a comprehensive global framework for the cryptocurrency market by the year 2027. At their summit in New Delhi in 2023, the G20 leaders, through the Delhi Declaration, unveiled their motive to regulate cryptocurrency market assets on a global scale.

The primary motivation behind this initiative is to mitigate the risks associated with cryptocurrencies, including fraud, market manipulation, and illegal activities. This shift in strategy shows the potential of crypto assets in a well-regulated financial market while acknowledging the difficulties of enforcing a blanket ban.

The G20 leaders have called upon the Financial Stability Board to oversee the implementation of globally coordinated regulations for cryptocurrencies. The ultimate goal is to establish a common baseline for the regulation and oversight of crypto assets while allowing individual policy autonomy. Importantly, none of the G20 member nations intends to grant legal tender status to cryptocurrencies.

Key Developments in the Global Cryptocurrency Regulation:

1. Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF): The G20 leaders are swiftly implementing CARF, a standardized method for reporting tax information related to cryptocurrency transactions. This framework aims to enable the automatic exchange of tax-related data between taxpayers and their respective jurisdictions of residence on an annual basis. And any crypto transactions by Indian residents on foreign-based crypto exchanges will fall under CARF’s automatic information exchange protocol.

2. Amendments to the Common Reporting Standard (CRS): The joint declaration also emphasizes on tax transparency through amendments to CRS. The importance has been given to accurate reporting and compliance in the cryptocurrency and international financial landscape.

Global Support for Regulatory Consistency:

Leaders from various sectors have supported this G20’s mission:

  • Edul Patel, CEO & Co-founder of Mudrex, appreciated the tax transparency and accurate reporting in the cryptocurrency sphere. Richard Teng, Head of Regional Markets at Binance, welcomed the roadmap presented by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Financial Stability Board (FSB). Rahul Pagidipati, CEO of ZebPay, commends India commitment to nurturing a secure and innovative digital economy. He emphasized on the importance of responsible regulations prioritizing investor protection, AML measures, and cybersecurity.

Industry Perspectives:

Rajagopal Menon, Vice President at WazirX, highlighted the potential to enhance monetary sovereignty, financial stability, accountability, and transparency. Menon suggests that the document strikes a balance in regulation, neither overly strict nor too permissive.

Ashish Singhal, Co-founder and CEO at CoinSwitch, praises the Indian government’s efforts in taking the stance to expand dialogue and understanding of virtual digital assets (VDAs). This shows the change in the nature from discussions focused on banning VDAs, to recognizing the importance of a global consensus on crypto. Cryptocurrencies’ borderless nature makes them challenging to regulate, potentially leading to financial integrity threats and inefficiencies.

Advancing Transparency and Reducing Data Gaps:

Sidharth Sogani, Founder and CEO at crypto research firm CREBACO, supports the document but cautions that India may still be at least a year and a half away from concrete regulations. He suggests that India may await global regulations, which might be the reason behind Coinbase’s recent exit from the Indian market.

Among G20 countries, only around 15 have clear cryptocurrency regulations, including Canada, the United States, Europe, and Japan. Sogani highlights the need for a universal tax policy, risk officers, and a regulator for centralized exchanges.

As many countries are still formulating policies and regulations for crypto assets, the G20’s directions are expected to quicken and refine this process. India has not yet legalized cryptocurrencies but has imposed a 30% tax on crypto investments and a 1% TDS on crypto trades in the 2022 budget. The Reserve Bank of India has also expressed concerns about the risks associated with this decentralized currency. Later. the central bank’s efforts to introduce an official digital currency as an alternative to unregulated cryptocurrencies showed a significant policy shift.

Even though, the official digital currency may gain prominence, the decentralized cryptocurrencies exists due to their nature and immunity to macroeconomic developments. Additionally, blockchain-based currencies have the potential to challenge the dominance of the US dollar in global payment settlements, offering emerging economies like India opportunities to promote cross-border trade settlements in their own currencies and rebalance global financial dynamics.

Cryptocurrencies, as decentralized digital assets, have the potential for misuse, as has been seen in the past. However, this does not diminish their appeal or undermine their utility as a safe haven for investors. Therefore, we can safely conclude that the G20 leaders’ approach to cryptocurrencies reflects a balanced and pragmatic stance. They are officially recognizing the need for regulation while acknowledging the potential of blockchain-based assets. The global crypto landscape is continuously evolving, and coordinated regulation is important to play a pivotal role in future.

PTM extends support to Afghan refugees; 60 lawyers’ panel set up

Amdist the crackdown on Afghan civilians by the Pakistan Army, PTM has raised its voice against the ongoing Pak aggression. Recently, Pakistan arrested almost 250 Afghan refugees from Sindh. The operation of repatriating undocumented Afghan civilians was started on September 11. The operation was ruthless and was carried out with an intention to harass the Afghan civilians who can not move back to Afghanistan because of security related concerns.

The abrupt crackdown on the Afghan civilians is the resulting frustration of the Pakistan Army after Chitral violence. Reports suggest that even the children were brutally sacked into custody.

PTM provincial committee leaders along with several workers visited Afghan colony, where the Afghans urged them for protection. PTM leaders extended their support and promised a protest against the brutal and inhumane treatment of the establishment.

Taking immediate action, PTM members convened a meeting and set up a team of 60 lawyers to provide the protection to the Pashtuns and Afghans in every way possible. The team would look into the arrest and detention of any Pashtun and Afghan civilians and would ensure them the legal facilitation, whatsoever required.

Crackdown on Afghan refugees once again exposes the malicious face of Pakistan Army. Pakistan Army and its subsequent government have a specialization in carrying out illegal and extra-judicial atrocities.

The Paki establishment is increasing the intensity of its attack on the Pashtuns and Afghans. In between all this, PTM extending support to Afghan refugees adds another important aspect to the movement to deal with the inhumane Pakistan Army.

Pakistan’s sinister motive behind suspension of internet in Pak-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan

In Pakistan-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan, escalating sectarian tensions between Shias and Sunnis have led to an extended suspension of all internet services by the local administration.

The tensions between the Shia majority and the Sunni community have been simmering for weeks, culminating in large-scale protests against Islamabad’s recent amendments to blasphemy laws. It has been a fortnight since the internet services have been suspended by the occupying government of Gilgit-Baltistan. POGB is already grappling with poverty, had limited internet access available in select areas.

Residents had just begun to explore the potential of online businesses and educational opportunities when the Pakistan-backed administration in the illegally occupied territory abruptly halted internet services. This move has left numerous students in Gilgit city without access to their regular online classes. The most affected are the students and the professionals, who are heavily dependent on the internet services.

Recently, the Gilgit Baltistan Freelancer Association (GBFA) wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary of the occupying Gilgit-Baltistan administration. The letter underscored the problem faced by almost 2,000 freelancers whose online job depends on 4G services. The abrupt internet cut off has made them vulnerable for unemployment.

https://twitter.com/MasroorEhsan1/status/1701923869685112984

GBFA has urged the occupying government to restore the internet services with immediate effect. However, the concern raised by them is the real intention of Pakistan. As per GBFA, some freelancer individuals and companies are relocating themselves outside the POGB. Unfortunately, that is what Pakistan wants. Economically self-dependent and educated POGB will eventually challenge the illegitimate claim of Pakistan over the region. On the contrary, if the region remains disputed and in crisis, it could be easily exploited by the Pak Army and the titular government in both Pakistan and POGB.

Paki ‘establishment’ illegally arrests PTM activist Sajjad Khan for the eighth time

PTM activist and an ardent advocate of peace and anti-terrorism, Sajjad Khan, has been illegally arrested by the Pakistani ‘establishment’.

Sajjad Khan, a resident of Deer district has been arrested under the controversial 3MPO (Maintenance of Public Order) regulation that has been deliberately used by the Paki establishment and its subordinate law enforcement machinery. Pakistan has carried out an extensive crackdown on PTM activist and its supporters after the Islamabad jalsa of PTM.

This deep injustice with the Pashtun activists can be understood by the fact that Sajjad Khan has been arrested for the eighth time under the 3MPO since past year. PTM Chief Manzoor Pashteen has raised concern for his arrest.

Some of the prominent individuals like former MNA Ali Wazir and human rights activist Iman Mazaari have fallen prey to Pakistan Army sponsored crackdown. PTM has for long protested against the policies of Pakistan Army which has reduced the Pashtun land to a battleground of terrorists that are breaded by them.

Pakistan has devasted the region. It is hard to even imagine the state of absolute turmoil that Pashtuns face on a daily basis. Sajjad’s arrest is a testament to the growing oppression of the Pashtuns in the region.

Baloch freedom fighters boldly attack Paki Army across Balochistan

In a series of bold actions, Baloch freedom fighters have left a significant impact on the Pakistan Army with two major incidents.

BLF attacks Pakistan Army post in Mand

In a daring operation, the Balochistan Liberation Front’s Sarmachars (freedom fighters) struck a newly constructed Pakistan Army post in Chukkap Kaur, Mand, situated in the Kech district of Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan on 12 sept. The attack, executed with heavy and automatic weapons, resulted in the immediate death of one Pak Army personnel, while another sustained injuries.

Despite the Pakistan Army deploying gunship helicopters to shell the area in response on the second day of the attack, no further casualties occurred. The freedom fighters successfully retreated to their safe locations. The BLF had been closely monitoring the activities of the Pakistan Army after the construction of the outpost. They took decisive action to curb their expanding presence in the region.

The Balochistan Liberation Front has not only claimed responsibility for this audacious attack but also issued a stern warning to the enemy. They declared that the enemy forces are not safe within their forts, check posts, outposts, or strongholds in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan. The BLF affirmed their capability to strike anywhere, vowing that these operations will persist until the independence of Balochistan is achieved from the brutal regime of Paki establishment.

BLA eliminates enemy agent in Zehri

In another separate incident, freedom fighters of the Baloch Liberation Army have successfully eliminated Zahoor Lotani, a crucial agent working in collaboration with the occupying Pakistan Army in the Zehri Kohn area of Khuzdar.

Zahoor Lotani, operating under the direct supervision of the Pakistan Army, was deeply involved in numerous crimes against the Baloch nation. He functioned as an informant for these oppressive Pakistan Army in Khuzdar and Gwadar. He committed terrible crimes such as aiding enemy Pak Army in conducting raids on civilian homes and forcibly disappearing Baloch youth. In return, he was allowed to pursue his illegal drug-related activities.

In 2019, Lotani provided information to the Pak Army that led to the enforced disappearance of a freedom fighter associated with an allied organization from Zehri Bazar. Despite being warned three times to stop his criminal activities, Lotani continued.

For his treasonous crimes, Zahoor Lotani was sentenced to death by a Baloch national court, and this sentence was carried out by BLA fighters. Others connected to Lotani’s network are also on the radar. The BLA sent a clear message: those committing national treason will not be spared, and their operations against occupying Pakistan Army and collaborators will continue.

The BLA and BLF are Baloch nationalist groups that want freedom from the oppressive and brutal regime of the Pakistan Army. They have carried out numerous attacks on the Paki establishment in the pursuit of the liberation of Pakistan-occupied Balochistan.

Pak Army has time and again committed daily home raids, disappearances, staged encounters, target killings, torture, humiliation at checkpoints, and kidnappings for ransom in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan. Innocent Baloch are trapped and are enduring inhumane conditions and violence by the Pakistan Army in their own homeland. Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948, Balochistan has been fighting the war of its existence. Be it the peaceful way of protests or the armed resistance, against the inhumane authoritarian rule of Pakistan Army, Balochs are fighting an all-front war.

Balochistan: Pak Army’s ruthless atrocities persist in Dera Bugti, showing no signs of abating

The Pak Army’s offensive in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan’s Dera Bugti has entered its fourth day, leaving the residents of the region in turmoil. The situation escalated following the visit and orders of Corps Commander Asif Ghafoor, that has resulted in an intensified operation. On 13 Sept, a convoy of 20 vehicles from Sibi made its way to the Sherani area of Uch, where the operation kicked off by encircling the entry points. Furthermore, two additional helicopters arrived in Sui from Kishmore, further escalating the situation on the ground.

The Pakistan Army has effectively surrounded Dera Bugti, sealing off all entry and exit points, leaving residents stranded without access to essential supplies, including rations and medical assistance. Disturbing reports are emerging from the Sherani area, where the Pakistan Army has taken a father and his son, Ali Bakhsh and Shah Mir, into custody, their whereabouts unknown. Tragically, four houses in the same area have been set ablaze, adding to the growing crisis.

Additionally, the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) said that 12 trucks of the Pakistan Army returned to Sui Army cantonment, loaded with cattle looted from shepherds in the Rustam Darbar area of Dera Bugti.

In a heart-wrenching development, the BRP Media cell reported that the Pakistan Army has forcibly displaced twenty families of the Bakhlani clan, a part of the Bugti tribe, from their homes in the Asreli area of Dera Bugti. These impoverished families were forced to abandon their crops, which were their sole means of livelihood.

Over the past four days of the ongoing offensive, Pakistan Army have abducted more than twenty people, including a local councilor. The Paki establishment contends that the Pak Army launched a rescue operation to recover six footballers who were abducted over the weekend while traveling from Sui Dera Bugti to Sibi. However, their plan is far more sinister. Pak Army is using force and violence on the innocent Baloch civilians to suppress their voice of dissent.

In just two days, 17 people have been forcibly disappeared in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan. This traumatic human tragedy raises numerous questions, highlighting the disturbing silence of the media, human rights organizations, and the international community. It seems like these institutions are allowing Pakistan Army to act fearlessly without any punishment. The situation in Dera Bugti is nothing short of barbaric, with dozens of people forcibly disappeared following illegal arrests. Pakistan’s actions is in the literal sense Baloch Genocide.

For the past four days, the brutal attack by the Pakistan Army has continued unabated in Dera Bugti, with numerous trucks laden with heavy weapons and hundreds of personnel deployed to expand the operation. Enforced disappearances persist in Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan, mainly in Dera Bugti and Mastung, where individuals have been forcibly disappeared by Pakistan Army.

The Pakistan Army has deployed an arsenal of forces in Dera Bugti, including gunships, SSG commandos, and heavy artillery, resulting in the abduction of innocent civilians, including teenagers, poets, and teachers. The silence from the media, civil society, and human rights organizations is deeply concerning. It is very important that we raise our voices against this injustice. Pakistan-occupied-Balochistan deserves justice, they deserve freedom from the brutal regime of Paki ‘establishment’.

Kashmir: Two army officers, J&K policeman martyred, operation continues

Two army officials and one Jammu and Kashmir Police officials have laid their life while fighting with the Pakistan backed terrorist in J&K’s Anantnag.

The three martyrs include Colonel Manpreet Singh, who was the Commanding Officer of 19 RR, Major Aashish Dhonchak, DySP of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat.  DSP Bhat was the son of former DIG Ghulam Hassan Bhat. On the basis of an intel regarding the terrorists hiding in Gadole-Kokernag region, the joint operation was carried out on Tuesday, September 12.

Later the operation was halted at night due to darkness and hostile terrain and was restarted next morning.  The joint team led by Col. Singh was moving towards the target area when the terrorists opened indiscriminate fire, injuring them. Soon, they were airlifted to Srinagar where they succumbed to injuries.

Subsequently, additional troops were deployed at the Gadole-Kokernag area. Pak based banned terrorist outfit TRF has claimed the responsibility of the attack stating it as a revenge on the death of Mohammad Riyaz, a terrorist killed recently in a mosque in Pakistan.

Recent reports suggest, a Lashkar terrorist Uzair Khan is behind the attack. As of now, the operation has been resumed and the security forces have encircled two terrorists including Uzair Khan.

Rajouri encounter

Similarly on September 13, security forces engaged with the terrorists in Rajouri where they killed three terrorists. Unfortunately, one India army personnel lost his life while three others got injured. During the long impeding encounter, Kent, a brave dog of 21 Dog Unit lost her life shielding her handler. She was a six-year-old Labrador.

Reportedly, on Monday a search operation was carried out in Kishtwad region and some suspicious belongings were found, however, because of darkness, two terrorists were able to sneak away.

While the nation is mourning over the loss of lives of our security forces, the anger and demand of strict measures against Pakistan is also rising.
