Attacks on Pak forces in Panjgur and Awaran,POB

In recent developments from Pakistan-occupied- Balochistan, unidentified armed assailants targeted a Pakistan forces’ checkpoint in the Garmkan area of Panjgur. The attack resulted in losses for the forces, although specific details remain undisclosed at this time.

Simultaneously, the region between Awaran and Mishke witnessed a flurry of heavy gunfire and explosions, raising concerns among local sources about a clash between Pakistan forces and unidentified armed individuals.

Meanwhile, in Kolwah, reports have emerged of alleged human rights violations during a military operation. Pakistan forces have been accused of subjecting women and children to torture in various areas. Furthermore, reports indicate that valuable items, including mobile devices, were confiscated from homes during these operations.

Balochistan gained independence from the British on August 11, 1947, but Pakistan forcibly took control on March 27, 1948. Since then, the Baloch people have faced abductions, murders, and atrocities. Despite this, they continue to resist Pakistan’s occupation through protests, armed struggle, and a fight for human rights. The Pakistan military employs illegal tactics to suppress Balochistan’s resilient spirit.

Two Baloch students shot in a fake encounter by Karachi police

In a distressing incident, two Baloch students were shot in a fake encounter by the Karachi Police. This event has once again shed light on the extra-judicial measures taken by the state machinery, wreaking havoc on the lives of Baloch people. The police quickly asserted the legitimacy of the encounter, but the victims’ family promptly released a compelling video that debunked the police’s claims.

Noor and Fahim belonged to Mastung area of Balochistan and were in Karachi to spend their summer holidays with her mother.

The Police stated that they carried out an encounter on July 27, in which Noor Mohammad and Fahim Ahmad sustained gunshots. Police also registered a case against them alleging siezation of weapon from them.

On the other hand, family of the victims stated that armed officials abused the victims and escorted them away on the bike. Meanwhile, the family also took the video of the whole incident. Surprisingly, moments after they were picked, police stated that both the boys were shot in an encounter at Rafah-e-Aam Society.

The family was shocked after listening to Police statement. They soon released the video of the whole incident that busted the claims by Police. This raised resentment in the people.

In response to public outcry, SSP Korangi stated that they have taken cognizance of the incident and are conducting a thorough investigation. Lately, the Baloch students have become a prime target of Pakistan. From Islamabad to Quetta, Pak sponsored atrocious forces are delved in enforced disappearance of Baloch students.

Had those videos not been recorded, the innocent minor Baloch boys would have been declared as terrorists and brutally killed. Moreover, the failed state of Pakistan would have also started to exploit the fake encounter for propagating its anti-Baloch agenda.

“Debanking” Scandal Sparks Outrage in the UK; Calls for Investigation

In a shocking revelation, newly released data obtained through a Freedom of Information (FoI) request to the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority has exposed a debanking scandel with closing over 1,000 accounts every working day.

This has ignited a heated debate over the so-called “debanking” practice, with former UK Independence Party (Ukip) leader Nigel Farage calling for an urgent investigation by a royal commission. The FoI request uncovered that, in 2016-17, more than 45,000 accounts were abruptly shut by banks. The alarming situation has only worsened over the years, with a staggering 343,000 accounts closed in 2021-22, translating to the unsettling closure of well over 1,000 bank accounts on a daily basis.

Closure Without Explanation

Individuals and organizations affected by “debanking” have reportedly received little or no explanation for the sudden closures. Banks sometimes cite concerns over financial crimes as the reason, leaving customers in distress and uncertainty.

Nigel Farage’s case has added fuel to the fire, revealing that his political views played a role in the closure of his account in Coutts, a subsidiary of NatWest. The fallout from his situation led to the resignation of the chief executives of both NatWest Group and Coutts, with Farage demanding the stepping aside of NatWest Group’s chair, Sir Howard Davies.

Farage, now spearheading a campaign website, is demanding a swift investigation by a royal commission to address the growing crisis. He expressed solidarity with the countless individuals and small businesses across the country who have experienced account closures, asserting that their lives have been unfairly disrupted.

The Guardian reported that approximately 90,000 individuals have been categorized as “politically exposed persons,” leading to the rejection of some politicians or their families by banks. The ripple effects of this situation have also impacted anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller, whose True and Fair party was informed that their account with digital bank Monzo would be closed in September.

Call For Intervention

As the “debanking” scandal continues to unfold, pro-Brexit groups have also raised their voices, reporting similar difficulties accessing banking services. The public outcry has intensified, with calls for the UK government and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to intervene and ensure fair treatment for all citizens and organizations, regardless of their political affiliations.

The future of banking transparency and accountability now hangs in the balance, with urgent action needed to address the mounting concerns and protect the financial stability of those affected.

Violent clash in Nuh unveils alleged pre-planned cybercrime cover-up

A sudden clash that erupted on 31 July in Nuh district of Mewat, Haryana, took a dark turn when new information emerged, suggesting the incident was pre-planned to erase cybercrime history from police records. The violent attack, allegedly executed by a radical Islamist mob during the Jalabhishek Yatra on Shravan Somvar, has drawn serious attention from authorities.

Startling CCTV footage from the Cyber Police station in Nuh has come to light, revealing a bus entering the police station premises at the same time the Muslim mob was seen pelting stones at a nearby building. According to reports, the mob forcefully commandeered a public bus and rammed it into the boundary wall of the Cyber Police Station on the day of the Nuh anti-Hindu violence. Subsequently, the mob launched a targeted attack on the main building of the Cyber Police station.

An investigation into the incident has suggested that the attack on the Cyber Police Station was intended to destroy crucial evidence and records related to cybercrime activities in the region. Notably, Nuh has been known as a hub for cybercriminals, and the Haryana police recently carried out a massive crackdown that led to the arrest of more than 60 individuals involved in a ₹100 crore cyber scam, with 250 still at large.

Authorities are now looking into the possibility of an organized cybercrime syndicate being involved in orchestrating the attack, indicating that it may have been a coordinated attempt to retaliate under the guise of a communal angle. Various images, social media posts and video has emerged showcasing the premeditated nature of the attack.

The violent clash resulted in the loss of four lives, including two home guards, and left at least 30 others severely injured. Responding to the incident, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has condemned the attack and asserted that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the violence.

Pakistan hikes fuel prices; petrol now costs PKR 272.95 per litre

In a move that has sparked concerns for everyday citizens, the Pakistan government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products. The decision, unveiled on Tuesday, comes amidst a backdrop of rising international oil prices and the country’s commitment to an International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout. While the government aims to stabilize the economy, it recognizes the challenges faced by the public.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, in a video statement, emphasized the difficult choice they had to make. The price of petrol surged by 19 rupees and 95 paise, reaching 272.95 Pakistani rupees per liter. For high-speed diesel, the price rose by 19 rupees and 90 paise, settling at 273.40 Pakistani rupees per liter. While the increase was a necessary step to meet IMF requirements, the government is well aware of its potential impact on the lives of everyday Pakistanis.

Dar acknowledged that global fuel prices had been surging relentlessly in the last 15 days, making it challenging for the government to maintain stability without adjusting local prices. The commitment to the IMF’s standby agreement, reached after eight months of tough negotiations, necessitated implementing fiscal discipline measures, including the petroleum levy of up to 50 rupees per liter.

“We understand the hardships this might cause to our people,” Minister Dar stated with empathy. “If it were solely up to us, we would have opted for a smaller increase. But we are bound by our international commitments.”

The decision, however, couldn’t have come at a more precarious time, with general elections on the horizon. The coalition government faces political implications and the task of mitigating the impact of this price hike on the people they serve.

With an already high inflation rate of over 29%, citizens and businesses alike are feeling the pressure. The increase in fuel costs adds to the daily struggles of hardworking families and businesses, leaving many worried about the rising cost of living.

The government have sought to strike a balance between meeting IMF guidelines and ensuring the welfare of their citizens. Simultaneously, the central bank’s decision to maintain a tight monetary policy at 22% will add another layer of complexity to already failing economy. As the statistics bureau prepares to release the July inflation data, Pakistan watches with bated breath.

BLA launches attacks killing Paki death squad member

In two seperate attacks, the BLA attacked Pakistan military and a key member of a death squad in Zamuran and Noshki respectively.

The operations were executed to resist the military aggressions and enforced disappearances of Baloch youth in the region.

In Noshki, the BLA successfully targeted and eliminated Babo Hameed Mandai, alias Sami, an important member of a death squad on July 30. Earlier in 2019, Babo Hameed had deceived Baloch freedom fighters, leading to their arrest. He later surrendered to the enemy and was involved in running an enemy-sponsored death squad in various regions, including Batto, Reko, Doh Seh, Munjro, and Ahmed Wall.

Furthermore, Babo Hameed aided the Pakistan Army in enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and conducting raids on civilian homes. In June 2022, he was involved in supporting the military during their advances after a drone attack in Makhbali, Noshki. The deceased had direct involvement in military aggressions in several areas of Noshki and Kharan, including Doh Seh, Hazda Khaol, Makhbali, and Lijjay areas. The BLA has considered him a traitor and had placed him on their hit list, resulting in his ultimate elimination today.

Zamuran Attack

In a separate operation on 29 July, BLA fighters targeted a post of the Pakistani military in Abdoi, Zamuran. During the attack, one enemy personnel identified as Waheed Ullah was killed, and two more were injured. The injured were later evacuated by Pakistan military helicopters.

The BLA spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, stated that the group will continue to target Pakistan military and its collaborators until the liberation of Baloch motherland. BLA targeting death squad and those involved in enforced disappearances, outlines their exertion towards the exploitation of Balochistan by the occupying Pakistan Army. While the grievances of the Baloch people’s go unheard by the ears of Pakistan, organisations like BLA have started resisting the unwarranted exploitation and fight for the freedom of once independent nation which Pakistan occupied on 11 August 1948.

Pakistan Army harasses Baloch families in Karachi

Residents of Karachi’s Lyari neighborhood have come forward with troubling complaints against Pakistan Army, accusing them of harassment and intimidation. Bakhtawar Baloch, a resident of the area, recounted a distressing incident on July 20 when, in a first, armed forces conducted a forceful raid at his home.

The forces reportedly confiscated mobile phones and personal belongings, while subjecting Bakhtawar and his family members to disrespectful interrogation.According to Bakhtawar, his family hails from Balochistan, and when their relatives visit, they seek medical treatment and stay at their house.

However, the forces and secret agencies seemed to be aware of these visits, causing further distress by demanding medical reports and scrutinizing their guests. The nightmare continued the following night when the forces raided their home again. Bakhtawar’s younger brother bore the brunt of the aggression, enduring severe violence, and receiving threats of harm. In a chilling turn of events, the forces warned Bakhtawar about a potential suicide attack, raising serious concerns about their safety. They also asked his connection with a women named Mahal, to which Bakhtawar denied of knowing anyone by the name of Mahal and refuted any such visit to his home.

He believes that these accusations are false, fabricated with the intention to instill fear and terrorize their family. Disturbingly, this is not an isolated incident. Baloch residents in Karachi have consistently raised complaints about forces intruding into their homes at night, causing mental anguish and distress. Moreover, reports of forced disappearances have emerged from various majority Baloch areas, further highlighting concerns about human rights violations.Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948, Balochistan has been fighting the war of its freedom from the clutches of Pakistan.
