Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Huge blast rocks Ali Masjid in Jamrud

A massive explosion rocked the Ali Masjid area in Jamrud, Khyber Agency, sending shockwaves through the region. The tragic incident occurred earlier today, resulting in the untimely death of Senior Police Officer (SHO) Adnan Afridi and several other individuals.

Initial reports indicate that the blast occurred at the Ali Masjid, a significant historical mosque situated near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Details about the cause of the explosion are still emerging, with authorities actively investigating the incident.

This unfortunate incident occurs amidst a concerning rise in terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan occupied Balochistan. Particularly alarming is the escalation after the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ended its ceasefire with the government in November of the previous year.

According to a tweet by Pakistan Strategic Forum’s STRATCOM Bureau, “Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has in the last 12 months experienced 665 terrorist attacks, a massive 500 per cent increase as compared to the previous year’s figures.” This surge in attacks highlights the urgent need for collective efforts to counter terrorism and protect innocent lives.

Radical Islamists vandalise another Ahmadiyya mosque in Pakistan

Radical Islamists once again vandalised an Ahmadiyya Mosque in Pakistan. As per reports, some radical Islamists vandalized the minaret of an Ahmadiyya Mosque on Driggs Road in Karachi’s Cantonment Bazaar. The videos of these fanatic bigots destroying the mosque circulated on social media, which has once again raised concern over the persisting persecution of Ahmadiyyas in Pakistan.
Few days ago, a group of people from Ahmadiyya community were booked for building minarets over the mosque. Since minarets are the part of Islamic tradition, they were accused of blasphemy. The brutality against Ahmadiyyas and their places of worship is nothing new in Pakistan. In fact, it has become a recurring activity, that is perpetuated on behalf of Islamabad. This attack is the eleventh attack on the Ahmadiyya mosques in Pakistan this year.

According to Press Ahmadiyya, ten such incident happened till July 14. But these are just mosques, there are way more aspects on which Ahmadiyyas face subjugation like celebrating festivals among others. The radical Islamist have not even left their graveyards. A couple of days ago, an Ahmadi graveyard was vandalised and the tombstones were broken into pieces in Jhelum.

While Ahmadiyyas, as a community, are facing the wrath of Pakistan brutality, they don’t even have the right to raise their voice constitutionally. The reason for that is the Ahmadiyyas have been constitutionally declared as non-Muslims in Pakistan. The law regarding that was passed in 1974. n 1984, Pakistan also snatched the right from them to call themselves Muslims. It is horrifying that such a violation of human rights still persists in today’s world.

“Miss Italia will not jump on the glittery bandwagon of trans-activism”- Patrizia Mirigliani

In the wake of a biological male being crowned the winner of the Miss Netherlands pageant a few days back, the organizers of the Miss Italy (Miss Italia) beauty pageant have banned transgender participation in their event this year. The official patron of the organization, Patrizia Mirigliani, told reporters that her competition had always insisted and followed that participants should be women by birth.

Apart from insisting on the rules of the Miss Italia completion, Mirigliani also went on to criticize the other competitions that allowed transgender participants. According to her, the other organizations did it only to create a buzz and stay in the news. Stating that the rules of other competitions were a bit absurd, Mirigliani also pointed out that “Miss Italia will not jump on the glittery bandwagon of trans activism”.

The Miss Italia completion has always been quite strict about its rules & regulations. It was more than a decade ago, in 2012, that the Miss Italia Pageant banned competitors who had gone under the knife for plastic surgery. Over the last few years, the rules were slightly relaxed with the pageant allowing women with tattoos, hair extensions and piercings as well. While pointing at these relaxations, Mirigliani stated that while her competition accepts the new age of women, it doesn’t believe in accommodating anything over & beyond, as “excesses are not good”.

This announcement from the Miss Italia organizers comes against the backdrop of a biological male, Rikke Valerie Kolle, being crowned as the “Miss Netherlands” for 2023. This was the first time in Dutch history that a transgender female won a beauty pageant. She will now go on to participate on the global platform of Miss Universe, which will be held in El Salvador in December this year.

This concept of gender identity is simply getting out of hand. Earlier considered a mental illness, it is being made to appear normal and to have achieved wider acceptance across societies and cultures. As a society, we have reached a point where we not only accept this gibberish but also support it. Corporations and private organizations are hopping on this “rainbow” bandwagon in order to monopolise the target. audience

BLF Sends Message

Balochistan, a region with a long history of resistance against the occupying Pakistan forces. It has endured years of violence, human rights abuses, and economic exploitation. The Baloch Liberation Movement seeks to assert their right to self-determination and reclaim their identity from the oppressive rule.

While Shakir’s execution reflects the gravity of his crimes against the Baloch people and their fight for autonomy, it also highlights the complexity of the situation in Balochistan. The region’s struggle for independence calls for a comprehensive resolution. A resolution that addresses the legitimate grievances of the Baloch people and aims to bring an end to the cycle of violence. Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948 by Pakistan , Balochistan has been fighting the war of its existence and freedom.

Child trafficking drama ‘Sound of Freedom’ banned in the USA?

When the movie, Sound of Freedom, was released on the 4th of this month, nobody expected it to become so talked-about, let alone earn $ 100 million at the North American Box Office! The movie talks about an ex-government agent’s rescue mission, where he saves victims of child sex trafficking from Columbia. It is a biographical depiction of Tim Ballard (played by Jim Caviezel), a former government agent, who travels to Columbia to rescue the children.

What’s the noise all about?

Three weeks into its release, Sound of Freedom has indeed become one of the highest-grossing movies in the domestic market of North America. However, what’s making people talk about the movie is the strange experiences shared by moviegoers on their social media accounts. Many people, who booked tickets for this movie experienced technical glitches, AC issues and other problems in the theatres that they visited.

With more and more people reporting issues like these on social media, it became clear that this just couldn’t be a coincidence, and the waters were murkier underneath. Moviegoers were distraught at Hollywood’s biggest attempt to sabotage “Sound of Freedom” because it addresses issues that the industry had shied away from all these years.

By creating such scenes in the theatres, Hollywood and the people who rally behind the industry are trying to keep problems like child sex trafficking well hidden like it has been, for all these years. The real and reel heroes of the story (Ballard and Caviezel) have been quite vocal about conspiracy theories related to child trafficking in the past, fuelling the buzz around the movie.

What’s the conspiracy theory in this movie?

The film’s hero, Caviezel has delivered many public speeches in events like QAnon, where he spoke about why no one addresses child sex trafficking openly in Hollywood. The actor’s open talks, about the adrenochrome conspiracy theory, have not gone down well with many Hollywood biggies. For those of you who are wondering what this theory is all about, here is a brief explanation.

According to this theory, child sex traffickers drain the children’s blood to harvest a chemical called adrenochrome. Some performers in Hollywood inject themselves with this chemical-filled blood as it helps them stay young.  The real-life personality, on whom the movie is based, Tim Ballard, has also been quite vocal about his opinions about child trafficking in the recent past.

In light of all these theories, the movie, “Sound of Freedom” co-written and directed by Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, has managed to make the right noises after all.

Stand of Distributors and Theatres

The movie is funded partly by crowd-funding and partly by Angels Studios (Utah-based). Angels Studios has been trying its best to improve the viewership and popularity of the movie by launching the “Pay it Forward” program, where you can book the tickets for the movie online, and give it to your friends who may not otherwise book tickets for themselves.

AMC Theatres, the country’s largest cinema chain, refutes all reports of technical glitches and operational issues in theatres where the screening of the movie happened. According to Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Theatres, “More than one million people have watched Sound of Freedom at AMC Theatres”. He also stated that all conspiracy theories reported by moviegoers were absolutely baseless.

Has the movie been banned?

From what the movie’s distributors and theatre owners say, it doesn’t look like the movie has been banned at all. You can continue to watch the movie at a cinema near you. What about the social media posts of people, who booked tickets, but were prevented to watch the movie, you may ask. You could be one of those 1 million people that AMC Theatres proudly states have watched the movie successfully. Regardless of the hype and conspiracy theories around the movie, this should definitely be on your must-watch list at a cinema, or later when the movie releases on an OTT platform. This is because the movie talks about a hard-hitting theme that has been explored for a long while.

Hospitals in Pak-occupied Balochistan struggle with lack of medicines and equipment

The spokesperson of Young Doctors Association Balochistan has stated that, all government hospitals in the entire Balochistan province have run out of medicines for the past one year, and the Pakistan government’s incompetence has made the patients suffer even more.

According to the spokesperson, syringes, cannulas, drips, and even a single injection are not available in district headquarter hospitals and central tertiary hospitals. This situation is so critical that even medicines for heart emergencies are not accessible, which is a worrisome condition.

For the past year, hospitals have not had any medicines at all, and due to the government’s incompetence, they have not been able to procure them. Even after the new year’s budget allocation, they have failed to provide basic facilities in hospitals.

This is proof of the indifference and incompetence of the government and has left no stone unturned to push the people of Balochistan towards more deprivation.

Young Doctors Association demanded the Government of Balochistan to take notice of the lack of facilities in the hospitals on emergency basis. As the human right abuses and exploitation of the Baloch resources are increasing with each passing day, there is also an inceasing voice from inside Balochistan demanding the forceful resistance against these atrocities. Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948, Balochistan has been fighting the war of its existence.

BLA launches multiple attacks on Pak Army inflicting heavy loses

BLA attacked the military and infrastructure of occupying Pakistan Army in three separate attacks in Harnoi and Bolan.

In the Bolan attack, BLA freedom fighters targeted a supply vehicle using an IED near Mansoor Top in Peer Ismael area. In the attack, supply vehicle was completely destroyed while the driver of the vehicle was injured.

Following the attack, Pakistan Army personnel who tried to reach the spot, were targeted in a follow up attack, again using an IED. In the secondary attack, at least one enemy personnel was killed, while others were injured.

Apart from the Bolan attack, BLA freedom fighters also blew up a communication tower on July 21. The communication tower was situated near the occupying Army outpost in Chaparlatt Harnai.

In their statement, BLA has committed to the continuation of attacks on the occupying Pak Army in the future, until, the liberation of Balochistan. BLA is dedicated to the Baloch freedom struggle, has carried out various attacks on the occupying Pak Army and its infrastructure in the past.

Following the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March 1948, Balochistan has been fighting the war of its existence. Be it the peaceful way of protests or the armed resistance, against the inhumane authoritarian quasi state of Pakistan, Balochs are fighting an all-front war.

As the human right abuses and exploitation of the Baloch resources are increasing with each passing day, there is also an inceasing voice from inside Balochistan demanding the forceful resistance against these atrocities. Unfortunately, one of the various reasons for such a voice is also the ignorance of international and multilateral human rights organizations. Inspired by their sinister interests, almost every organization has turned a blind eye towards the complete devastation of Balochistan.
